YES.

I've not yet decided who I will support in the primaries. But no matter who you support, please seriously consider the issues so cleverly articulated in this article. This is the first I've seen of mainstream media publishing the opinions a lot of us have been having about the race between these two particular candidates.

This election is putting me a little in a tailspin. I'm usually a republican presidential voter, but this time around I can't find a republican I like. I can't find a democrat I like either- I like them, just not their policies implicitely.

Why is it that the two groundbreakers we throw out there have to be going against eachother?

Why do the Iowa/New Hampshire caucuses matter so much?

Do I even need to vote in the primaries? I'm in CA- isn't it already decided before I get to it?

Have you changed your voters registration?

I think a tailspin is good. It means you're really considering your options. I'm not sure exactly who I favor yet, but I guess I'm cynical enough not to expect a candidate that I love.

I agree that its a shame that Clinton and Obama are going against each other, especially since their battle sometimes obscures the other candidates. But at least its got people talking about different biases.

The Iowa and New Hampshire primaries matter so much pretty much only because they are first. They set a national trend of belief. Is the same candidates win in both of them, people often do believe the winners have already been chosen. David wrote a pretty great post about it.

Yeah, I have changed my registration in the past. Just head into your post office and grab a form.

I respectfully offer these two words:

Cynthia McKinney

If you don't know who she is or why she should be the next president of the USA, you owe it to yourself to look at her and her platform. Obama and Clinton don't hold a candle to her ethically or politically.

Chet - I'm reading about her right now, thanks.

I posted the link not in support of either candidate but because i think it helps bring a little perspective back to the idealism currently influencing the election.

I actually can't bring myself to support either Clinton or Obama. Their campaigns are both so highly spun that I find myself resenting them both.
